Seeing Fate show a softer side while taking care of her injured dog Arf makes her incredibly sympathetic. Then Nanoha trying to communicate during their water clash proves she is not just fighting to win

This episode introduces Arf, who seems to be an interesting character. Her personality entertaining and adds a bit of fun to the story. The first few scenes were a little unexpected but I found most of it to be wholesome since it was about Nanoha spending time with the people she cared about. I do wish there was more scenes that showed her friends and family.
