I've seen these characters before, but it's my first time watching this series. The OVA can be a great introduction for people like me who have been curious but didn't want to commit yet to the series. Also, the amount of parodies in this cracked me up so much, I had a lot of fun.

To be honest, I've never seen the Lucky Star anime before, so the OVA was my very first introduction to it. For someone who hasn't watched the main series, I actually had a pretty good time and laughed at a few of the stories.So, I'd say you don't necessarily have to watch the whole anime to enjoy it; you can still get some good laughs out of it, and it's a very light watch. The animation—meaning the visuals—isn't the best, but that's understandable since it came out back in 2008, if I'm not mistaken.

I love this movie on how they treat their pet like it's part of the family. The bonding of the main characters are also amazing and kinda funny.
