This episode continues the show's breakneck pace. Jokes come at you rapid fire Akane's violent outbursts, Guri's casual chaos, Yuzu's creepy sister obsession. The Death Note parody is less obvious this episode, but the absurdist humor is still front and center.
This episode had me smiling from start to finish. The humor is completely ridiculous and over the top but that's exactly what makes it so entertaining. At the same time, the romance feels surprisingly genuine with characters being refreshingly honest about their feelings. I especially enjoyed how the episode balanced absurd comedy with wholesome relationship moments. One minute it's pure chaos and the next it's unexpectedly heartwarming. That mix is what makes this anime so fun and easy to get invested in.
