I'm so scared for the next few episodes. What they're hinting in this episode is not great at all, one might say haha... I was holding back my tears when Kit said something that absolutely demolished me. Perhaps it was for the better- for his people but for him? That's must've hurt so bad. They also showed Kit's mother in this episode, who might I say, share similar traits to Lili. Both are such kind and gentle souls.

TEAR JERKER. Oh my goodness, the colours in this episode were phenomenal. The usage of colder more somber colours during the sadder scenes and the change into more vibrant colours towards the end with Lili and Kit by the beach to showcase their developing feelings AAAAA ITS SO BEAUTIFUL!

This episode shifts into a much heavier tone, and you can really feel that change settling in. Lili Ichijoin focusing on her art while sending that “victory letter” home feels quietly bittersweet, like she’s holding onto something fragile. At the same time, Kit is clearly being pulled in a direction he doesn’t fully control. I really love how the episode contrasts their paths without forcing a direct clash. The standout moment is when Kit is placed in a situation where expectations are made very clear without anyone needing to raise their voice—it’s calm, but suffocating. That quiet pressure says everything. This is where the story starts feeling much more grounded in reality.
