"When I was a girl growing up, I just didn't appreciate, well, how beautiful this village is. " That line from Dorothy struck a chord with me tbh. You just grow up and came to appreciate life more but I digress. I feel so bad for Dorothy and Lili in this episode, justice for both of these girls. Also nearing the end of the episode, the way they talk about art got me crying inside. This anime has a way with words lawd

Absolutely loved the moment between Lili and Dorothy’s family. The colour scheme was warm, making the audience feel the ambiance of the house. I feel so happy for Lili this episode! Honestly goes to show that she is already an amazing artist and she shouldn’t think so negatively about herself :(

This episode feels like a mix of reflection and quiet payoff. I really love how Lili takes time to process her feelings instead of rushing forward. The standout moment is Kit submitting her sketchbook—it’s such a personal, almost vulnerable gesture. It says so much without needing words. And the way it ties back to Lili’s journey? Really satisfying. It’s soft, but impactful.
