Wow, first episode in and we already have a conflict. I understand Kanon in the first half. It's kind of hard opening up especially when people has already said their goodbyes to you but with the addition of Wien, I know it's taking a toll on her. In the second half, her decision... just shocks me tbh. I give it to her for being that positive. Wien is such a brat though lmao. I wonder what will happen in the next episode.
Well well well, what do we have here... Welcome to our final destination, Love Livers. This is by far our last watch of this franchise. So, with this eventually being the end of the Love Live animated series, i shall compare it to all the previous series after all 12 episodes. SO LET'S GET STARTED. (BTW, Love Live's YouTube channel has all the Liella seasons available to watch for free until August 31 2026, including subtitles, so if you wanna watch them, then go on.) This episode wasn't half bad. So, we got Kanon's return... tf. Yeah, I was just as disappointed as Kanon was, but yk yk, her scholarship isn't totally cancelled. It's just delayed until she graduates, so I don't really mind it that much. The other thing I'm concerned about is Wien being so awkward lmao. She's just another 1st year student, I guess, BUT OH! Across the entire Love Live franchise, she's probably the first 1st year student who's an absolute menace toward the main group. Alright, that's probably it, cus anything else would contain spoilers if I continued. Oh, and the opening and ending! I love the Season 2 opening more than this one. The animation is improving, even if it's barely noticeable, but trust me... this is their peak.
The first half of this episode was honestly so entertaining and hilarious to watch because of Kanon. The second half was even more engaging for me though because of the unexpected revelation that dropped. For the first episode, it made me more curious to see what would happen to Kanon and the group.
