The first years are really giving their all. But Natsumi is taking advantage of this, hoping to steer them toward creating a new girl group to monetize it. Lol. Didn't see the Natsumi backstory coming, though. Now it kinda makes sense why she turned out the way she did.
Is it a fucking must to count to 9? This shit is straight up giving me PTSD dawg. SYBAU😭 But alright, ahh... she's so similar to my friend. She can't find anything that really "fits" her, so she just focuses on making money... That's so damn human honestly. There are a lot of moral lessons in this episode, especially from Natsumi herself. And one more thing. I know bringing μ's back again won't make it unique, but like, PLEASE, just give us a glimpse of a μ's Easter egg. That whole counting from 1 to 9 thing is so similar to what they did during the BokuHiKa live, so why can't they make a literal reference to it? I mean, yeah, we already got the DVD that Nico had in Mei's episode, BUT THAT'S IT!!! I NEED MORE😭
I really enjoyed the first half of this episode because it was fun seeing what the first years were able to do together. The episode was also filled with so many heartfelt and emotional moments surrounding Natsumi that made her character much more likable. I wasn't a big fan of her that much since she was mostly focused on making money off the main casts, even though her chaotic personality was entertaining to watch. This episode really helped me appreciate her character more.
