Oshimeter
Synopsis
As another year begins at Yuigaoka Girls' High School, ushering in a fresh batch of students, the school idol club Liella! is excited to expand their membership. However, Liella! is extremely popular due to the astounding talent they have continuously displayed; thus, new students lack the courage to even consider approaching the club, fearing the rigorous training that might lie ahead. Amid her worries, club leader and co-founder Kanon Shibuya meets first-year student Kinako Sakurakouji and tells her about the world of school idols. This leaves Kinako in awe, but being fairly average herself, she feels she would not be capable of matching the spirited performances of the brilliant Liella! members. Nonetheless, Kinako receives encouragement to join the group and comes to share their dream of reaching for the stars once again in the grand Love Live! Competition.

Recently am very very interested into the last animated Love Live series. Superstar, and yup here goes my art for Liella.
Honestly, the final song doesn't really feel like something you'd play in a final competition. The semi final song sounds better. Only the animation and brilliant production saved this as finale song. But didn't expect that cliffhanger about Kanon though.
Margarete got thrashed online due to her irresponsible comment about Love Live. Despite calling it amateurish, she was defeated. But Kanon, being the kind girl she is, decided to find out the real reason behind her bitterness.
Their song here is my favourite. I love the song's message, the production design, camera movements, and the girls' facial expressions. Margarete is good, but Kanon and the girls are better. It's so satisfying to see Margarete fall after dissing Kanon and Love Live altogether.
Still shocked that Sunny Passion did not qualify for the Regionals. No matter how good Margarete is, it's questionable. But when they dropped the "they let their guards down" bomb, it kinda makes sense. And it pains me that it throws Leilla off their game.
I'll have to commend the production designer for their Chance Way performance. Love the astonishing design. The girls really shine brightly with the golden aesthetic, and the festival-vibe outfits are so peak.
Didn't expect this episode to show an unexpected side to Ren. They thought she's losing sleep due to juggling council work and idol activities. It's a nice contrast since she's very responsible. It's good to see her have a little fun.
The first years are really giving their all. But Natsumi is taking advantage of this, hoping to steer them toward creating a new girl group to monetize it. Lol. Didn't see the Natsumi backstory coming, though. Now it kinda makes sense why she turned out the way she did.
I kinda like this anime, but song wise and vibe wise I really like the original better.
So Mei can play the piano. I bet she's going to help with song composition. And I really don't like how Natsumi plans to use Leilla for her own selfish desires. But I know she'll come around. She's in the main opening song, so she'll definitely be part of Leilla.
My fav episode <3 Yuri ship ain't my thing, but Mei and Shiki's chemistry is undeniable. The potential is there and despite Mei's rough exterior, she is kind and sweet. I love how the storyline plays out with Shiki joining the group first and dragging Mei along the way.
Kinako improved so much in such a short period of time. Proud of her! But this solo singer sounded and looked charismatic. They got slammed. Kinda worried about the girls. And she's a middle schooler to boot. But she's full of herself. I don't like her.
Ah... yeah, at the very least, Kanon was enlightened by Chisato. OMG, she's so wise. (Chi-chan glaze) But seriously, that was probably the wisest statement Chisato has ever made. Okay, now about this episode.. no cap, they could've ended it with Episode 11. This one just works as a dessert to wrap everything up, and it was so beautiful... I'll watch S3 after this. Cya there, folks!
DAMNN, CHISATO IS SO WISE. Yes, kid, please be like Chisato and don't be naive like Kanon. Why? I hate it when people treat getting a scholarship to an elite school like it's something they'll have the chance to get every day. “Stay by your friend?” Nah bruh, be real and think about your future. A scholarship like that is a HUGE opportunity. Lucky we got our hero Chisato. Man, I was so pissed off at Kanon in this episode, that's way too naive for her to be.
Ah... no glaze, but uh... if Liella somehow wins, I honestly don't know what to say, man. Wien's performance is so damn goated here. Like bro... she's on a whole different level fr. But I genuinely enjoyed their winter vacation though.
Aw man... Sumire and Keke are just an enemies to lovers couple, bro. No doubt they flirt in their free time. AY AY OK STOP THE YURI WTF. Back to the episode, this one was actually pretty sad, but idk man, they’ve given me trust issues. “Keke will return to Shanghai if y’all fail!!” Well, last time she got hit by plot armor, so idk if this one is actually gonna be true.
FINALLY, A μ's EASTER EGGGGG !!! THAT IS OTONOKIZAKA GAKUEN'S ILAMA!! THE ONE EVEN KOTORI HERSELF CAN'T RESIST TO!!! 😭😭 Wait, hold on... when they're discussing the place, I think Kanon unknowingly just described Snow Halation and Aqours, didn't she? 💀 OH MAN, THIS EPISODE... err, it was kinda boring tbh. It's basically just them finding their stage through the power of friendship lmao. But at least we got a good Live fr.
What kind of table flip is this afaka, how did our girl Ren turn into a gaymer in a single episode😭😭 JIT BLUD BE HAVING EVERY SINGLE GAME CONSOLE IN EXISTENCE Dawg, this episode is essentially not important, but it's pretty funny to watch lmao. I'd say it's a must watch, cause we finally get to see one of the student council presidents get caught off guard, unlike Eli, who had 0 weaknesses (Blud is built different.) Ren is actually having a better character switch-up lmao.
Is it a fucking must to count to 9? This shit is straight up giving me PTSD dawg. SYBAU😭 But alright, ahh... she's so similar to my friend. She can't find anything that really "fits" her, so she just focuses on making money... That's so damn human honestly. There are a lot of moral lessons in this episode, especially from Natsumi herself. And one more thing. I know bringing μ's back again won't make it unique, but like, PLEASE, just give us a glimpse of a μ's Easter egg. That whole counting from 1 to 9 thing is so similar to what they did during the BokuHiKa live, so why can't they make a literal reference to it? I mean, yeah, we already got the DVD that Nico had in Mei's episode, BUT THAT'S IT!!! I NEED MORE😭
Oh, that's Bootleg Mari Ohara lmao. Tbh, her character is so unique. She actually works her ass off to earn money, damn... She was already better than these lazy ass people who can't do anything. (in-exception of Indonesian, we deadass ain't getting those 19m job vacancy) But yeah, they’re absolutely cooking with her character. She’s genuinely so unique, yk ? The problem in this episode is also pretty simple yet realistic, which I really like. Oh, and one more thing I really like about this episode is that we can see Chisato actually being a great leader compared to the previous leaders. I'm not saying the previous ones, like Honoka or Chika, were bad leaders. It's just that... there are characters who are simply more fitting for the role of a leader, and I think Chisato is one of them. So...
