Cukup bikin grown man kayak aku ikut terharu kalau nontonnya serius. Drama nya dapet banget, emosinya juga kerasa, dan yang paling penting... LAGUNYA. Salah satu perform favoritku sepanjang Love Live. Episode yang epic.
This performance still takes my breath away every time I rewatch it. It was also the symbol of the start of their era's great fame. Truly like a miracle through and through, kicking off the popularity of the series and the franchise up to this day.What I really loved about it was the performance itself. It was different from the PV (if you've seen it), especially the iconic miracle orange lights on the bridge of the song. I also loved each of their monologues right before the song started.The animation was also at its peak on this performance. They were definitely quite far along in the animation in the mid 2000s.That said, I also loved the little moments they each had: the first years and third years, showing us how much they've grown closer, too. God, it still makes me tear up to this day.
The episode that made Love Live as popular as it is today. To be honest, it all started with the YouTube MV, which had almost no context since the anime hadn't been adapted yet. But once Snow Halation was released in the anime, it absolutely blew up. It became one of u's greatest performances...From around 2010 to 2019, almost every weeb recognized Love Live because of Snow Halation. It was just that iconic. You could even argue that it helped redefine the idol anime era.One of the few plot holes I found here is the reason Honoka's dad gave them lol. Just watch the episode, and you'll understand.This episode has been absolute cinema ever since it aired, and it will continue to be for years to come. The snow will pass from one generation to the next, yet its purest soul will never be forgotten.
