Oh right QU4RTZ episode. I really liked the relaxed vibe that the episode had, which matches completely with the image of them as an unit.Following the trend of season 1, the mv has a lot of references to SIFAS cards, which is a good addition for fan service and because they are cards with good designs. The girls trying to sync up also brought some good and simple comedy to the episode, that also felt natural because that type of situation might happen to someone.
QU4RTZ is here at last! Our first introduction to Nijigasaki's subunits! SING! SONG! SMILE! is such a fun song to watch and listen to! I love how the harmony of their voices meld into one mesmerizing sound! Plot-wise, this episode builds up on the last one's setup which paid off in a splendid MV! Seeing the members plan their concert is such a cute and fun experience. Also, Kanata's mom is such a good looking character! A must watch episode definitely.
ABSOLUTE CINEMA. Every single Nijigasaki MV is just mesmerizing to watch... that's undeniable.As for this episode, yeah, I'd give it a true self crisis/10. It's a pretty common conflict in idol anime, but at least they resolved it in a creative way.I also loved how they replaced the ending with Yuu's piano performanc... it was so good lmao.And QU4RTZ is indeed a really solid sub-unit. Their live performance here was fantastic. I'm not putting it in my top 10, but I'd definitely say it deserves a spot in the top 25.
