Episode Context

This episode launches the three-part OVA directly after the original Love Hina series, picking up with Keitaro abroad and Hinata House left vulnerable to a power vacuum Kanako quickly fills. It's doing heavy lifting as both an introduction and a conflict engine, establishing Kanako as the central disruptive force the remaining two episodes will have to resolve. Everything here is setup, the dynamic it builds with Kanako's takeover drives the tension that carries through to the OVA's conclusion.
