Love Hina Again
Oshimeter
Synopsis
Getting into Tokyo University should be the happiest moment of Keitaro Urashima's life — except he immediately breaks his leg at the entrance ceremony and starts questioning everything. His solution: bail on the dorms and join his mentor Seta on an overseas archaeology dig. Reasonable enough. The problem is that while he's gone, his younger sister Kanako shows up at Hinata Lodge and declares herself the new manager. The existing tenants — the same chaotic, lovable girls from the original series — are not thrilled about this. Kanako has a very particular way of doing things, and it does not involve being warm and welcoming. Tension, comedy, and general Lodge-wide chaos follow. This three-episode OVA from Xebec wraps up the Love Hina story and gives some breathing room to character relationships that the TV series left hanging. It keeps the same mix of slapstick, awkward romance, and light ecchi that fans of the original will recognize. Kanako is a genuinely interesting addition — she shifts the group dynamic in ways that feel fresh without abandoning what made the first series work. If you enjoyed Nisekoi or We Never Learn, the harem-adjacent romantic comedy energy here will feel familiar. If you already watched the Love Hina TV series and wanted more closure, this is basically made for you. Three episodes goes by quickly, and it does what a good finale OVA should do.
