This is based on this series alone as I have not seen the prequels. It's actually a card game anime. Compared to Yu-Gi-Oh, this is dark. It started on a light hearted moment but the tone changed when the game came to the scene.

The premise seems fun! It starts like a normal slice-of-life anime, then boom everything changes. Suzuko seems way too soft for what’s coming. I can't wait to see how things unfold; this is getting interesting!

So far, I'm slightly irritated by Suzu because of how she cannot understand the peril she is in. However, I expect some growth that will aid her in the upcoming battles.
