Episode Context

Coming directly after the introductory 'A Blade of Light Shines,' this episode moves quickly past first-meeting formalities and begins forging Kane, Canal, and Millie into a functioning unit. It's an early but meaningful step in establishing the team's identity and the individual strengths each member brings. What happens here lays the relational groundwork that the rest of the season's missions will depend on.
