EPISODE CONTEXT
As the first of thirteen episodes, 'The Fool' serves purely as a world and character establishment piece, introducing Klein Moretti's disorienting new reality and the Victorian occult setting that will drive the entire season. Nothing precedes it — this is ground zero. It feeds directly into Episode 2, 'Beyonder,' where the supernatural power system begins to take shape, building on the mysteries and questions this premiere deliberately leaves unanswered.
