In this episode, we begin with a plot involving an investigation, murder, and suspicions among family members. Very much in the vein of "Closed Case," but with magic. I must say I was surprised and pleased to see the dismembered body uncensored; I don't usually like it when, in murder cases, the victim appears too "alive" to avoid upsetting sensibilities. The action scene is good, but the random English words are a bit cringeworthy, plus there's a guy over-explaining things in a surprised voice, a pretty common flaw in anime. The mysterious case doesn't really develop the mystery for very long, but I don't think it was necessary; if it's a case to start with, a simple one isn't bad at all.
Un episodio que ya concreta el tono que tendrá este anime: un anime de casos de misterio con asesinatos. Además de contar con acción y una animación muy sobresaliente en la parte final. Es diferente a la Guerra del Santo Grial, pero me genera mucha curiosidad saber cómo se desarrolla porque igual se centra en la magia.
What I like most about this episode is how it shows that Waver doesn't need to be physically strong just to get noticed. He isn't like other protagonists who can destroy an opponent with a single punch. His strength lies in his intellect, his analytical nature, and his ability to understand things that others fail to see.
