Wow, what a finale. The visuals, the emotional impact, and the always-rocking music, all blended together to make an epic, one-of-a-kind climax. Overall, this is one of the most unique mech animes I've seen, and one that I'll remember for a long time. For those that are into mech animes, you may want to check this out!
Almost everyone is here for the final showdown! We see Mu, who now calls herself the titular Listeners and controls the Earless. With the Players all taking center stage, they are prepping for the final battle that will determine the fate of the world. With one episode left, I'm ready for the rock-off of a lifetime!
After the previous tense episode, this was a needed breath of fresh air. In this episode, we see Echo settling in a farm and living out several days as a farmer. However, there's more to the farm than meets the eye. The episode isn't as action-packed, but it's an important turning point to the story. The final performance is close, and I have a feeling it'll be a spectacle.
It appears this episode is now setting the stage for climax. Mu has gone insane and Nir is ready to fight tooth and nail against her with the utmost conviction. With everything that's happened so far, I can only imagine what sort of incredible fights and plot twists are coming. Can't wait to find out!
The episode shows us where Mu and Echo were during the events of episode 7, since that one focused on Nir and her friends instead. It shows us what happened to Mu at the end of episode 7, which still shocks me to say the least. The stakes have now been raised, and I have a feeling everything will be cranked up from here on out for the remainder of the series.
This episode focuses not on Echo or Mu, but Nir, who we last saw in episode 4. We also see her new adventures with new friends along the way. At first, I thought it was another relaxing "slice of life" episode, until the last five minutes in, which things got amplified up to eleven. A thrilling and emotional "feel" trip, it's one that fans of the series would not want to miss!
A pretty dark episode, it shows us more about what the Earless were like before. It also presents Players in a different light, showing that they're not as heroic as some might think. Overall, an emotional-driven episode with a truly unexpected twist. One of my favorites so far!
Compared to the previous episodes, this one is more on the "slice of life," where we see our main heroes in a big city, finding work and going about their lives. It also goes a bit more in-depth on who Jimi Stonefree is. It still has the visually stunning fight scenes, but they're shallower compared to previous episodes. Overall, a nice little chill episode, and a good way to take a breather with all the craziness that's happened so far.
What can I say, I did not see that plot twist coming. It started off relatively slow, but picks at the end into a wild and surprising conclusion. Another solid entry to this quirky series!
Slower in pace compared to the previous episode, it tells us more about what Players are, as well as a bit on who Mu really is. It also shows Mu and Echo beginning to form a stronger bond. An overall relaxing episode that still offers some incredible action scenes, with amazing visuals and a rocking soundtrack!
I liked the first episode, but the second episode is now where I'm starting into the series more. It also gives us more insight about who the Players and the Earless are. The stakes just got higher and volume is starting to turn up. Looking forward to see what the rest of the series has set for the stage!
This episode really tugs at the heart and stirs our emotions. It’s not about romance, but about someone we love, like family. Do you get it? Finally, Echo played a significant role in bringing Mu back! Of course, there’s a twist at the end of the episode. Overall, the ending still leaves some things for us to learn more about, but I’m still satisfied with it.
Now I’m getting Avengers vibes! Looks like a huge fight is coming. The emotion made us feel hopeless since the enemy’s power was overwhelming. But at the end of the episode we got a “ray of hope” to turn the tables around! Can’t wait for the next episode!
I believe this was a cooldown episode before the upcoming action episodes. And this episode revealed another truth that shocked us. We can finally see Echo’s character development as he tries to save Mu in the next episode!
Nahh. This episode is darker than the previous one. Tommy’s getting more cruel. Mu’s losing her memory again. Echo’s trying to save her! It’s a sad moment at the end of the episode. As spectators, we can feel the hopelessness, sadness, and disappointment.
So many things I want to say about this episode. First, there wasn’t any action scene and it was just a light episode at the beginning. Second, the romantic scene was starting to develop and you could see the progress. Finally, the episode took a turn into a darker scene and left us on a cliffhanger!
I’d say this episode focuses entirely on new characters and previous characters, Nir. This isn’t a flashback, it’s a side story. And yeah, it made me drop my jaw at the end of the episode because I never thought it would happen that quickly!
The deeper we understand Jimi’s past, the more impactful it becomes. This episode balances emotion well, moving from shock and nervousness to a sad moment, then an intense action scene. It also foreshadows that something bad could happen in a future episode.
In this episode, we see Mu and Echo develop as they work toward becoming the strongest partners. The early part moves at a slower pace, and I don’t think it was necessary to drag things out just to find out about Jimi. That said, if you’re patient enough, the second half delivers a promising action sequence and a satisfying scene!
The first 12 minutes are light but important, since Mu and Echo start investigating Jimi. After that, the action picks up again. Honestly, it’s well balanced because not all action, and not just investigation. Still, the episode delivers a solid plot twist. The lesson is, don't trust people too easily!
