i dont know what about this anime that makes me feel like im watching exactly an ‘animated comic strip’. like do you even get what i mean? like that’s exactly what anime is i knowwww but what im trying to say right now is…it feels like super 2D. like im reading a comic but it moves LOL in a good way ofc. it’s probably the drawing style but it feels so much like im reading instead of watching. also it’s the layerings i guess. the way the characters seem to be layered on top of the background instead of blended in…if that makes sense. anywayyy, interesting concept. so random but also makes complete sense. also this shorty is not only short but also short tempered lol he’s really doting on her. but that height difference really cracks me up. been fun so far.
It has an interesting plot and a dystopian setting but might be a bit jarring to non-Japanese viewers. Overall, still a great watch but not recommended for casual viewers.
Wild premise honestly. Military librarians sounds ridiculous until the worldbuilding starts clicking. Kasahara is instantly lovable because she rushes into everything with pure heart. The censorship theme hooked me way faster than I expected.
