I find this episode rather lukewarm. I am actually quite disappointed with the level of character writing. While the main characters have some pretty good interactions and beliefs (although I am not a fan of them), the antagonists are simply so disappointing. This is supposed to be a chaotic world. Why are positions as high as theirs led by such incompetent people? They are simply no fun to watch, to be honest.

Episode 2 continues Raoh’s rise with a stronger focus on power, ambition, and the relationships between rival leaders. The episode expands the post-apocalyptic world while showing that Raoh’s path to becoming a king will involve more than simply overpowering everyone in his way. The tension between the characters is compelling, and the episode does a good job portraying Raoh as both intimidating and calculating. The action is solid, but the political and personal conflicts make this episode particularly interesting.

This episode was quite good and exciting, with music that perfectly complemented the tension of the climactic moments. While the pacing felt somewhat rushed, the script more than made up for it thanks to profound dialogue about power and domination.
