This is actually some high-level scheming. I really like the layers of plot in this episode. That said, finally... finally! A reasonable appearance! I've been nitpicking about this since forever. Although they appear so suddenly, at least there's a very reasonable reaction this time.
Episode 11 raises the stakes considerably with the arrival of Souther, the Holy Emperor. His presence immediately changes the balance of power and gives Raoh a formidable figure to contend with. The episode does a good job establishing Souther as an imposing and ruthless character, while the tension between the different factions keeps the story moving. The combination of military strategy, intimidation, and martial-arts action makes this one of the more exciting episodes of Raoh’s journey.
The episode's pacing feels frantic and dramatic, focusing on the enormous personal cost of maintaining the ambitious empire of the King of Fists. While the visual quality experiences the series' usual ups and downs in the massive action sequences, the strength of the script and the intensity of the internal conflicts firmly hold the story together.
