Episode 11 raises the stakes considerably with the arrival of Souther, the Holy Emperor. His presence immediately changes the balance of power and gives Raoh a formidable figure to contend with. The episode does a good job establishing Souther as an imposing and ruthless character, while the tension between the different factions keeps the story moving. The combination of military strategy, intimidation, and martial-arts action makes this one of the more exciting episodes of Raoh’s journey.
