Episode Context

Arriving at episode 89 of 110, this episode follows 'In the Distant Frontier,' which trained its lens on Julian's reflections at Iserlohn Fortress, the series is clearly entering a contemplative stretch before its endgame forces. 'Roses at the End of Summer' deepens that inward turn by shifting focus to Reinhard's internal struggles, offering critical character texture this late in the saga. It directly sets the stage for 'Rumbling,' where the emotional tensions surfaced here will begin resonating outward into the broader conflict.
