Episode Context

Following Episode 70, 'The Prodigal Sons Come Home,' which dealt with the personal and political fallout shaping both factions, this episode pivots directly into operational conflict by initiating the Mar-Adetta Starzone engagement. It functions as the first half of a two-part battle sequence, with Episode 72, 'The Battle of Mar-Adetta Starzone (Ending),' delivering the resolution, making this episode strictly setup and should not be watched in isolation.
