Episode Context

Coming directly off 'The Magician Is Captured,' which saw Yang Wen-li placed under arrest, this episode explores the immediate fallout as his allies begin responding to that seismic event within the Free Planets Alliance. Sitting at episode 61 of 110, well past the series' midpoint, it represents the franchise deepening its long-game political stakes rather than resolving them. It feeds directly into 'Blood Running Down the Stars (Cascade),' signaling that the tensions brewing here are about to find a far more volatile outlet.
