Episode Context

Following 'Seeking a Free Universe,' which laid the strategic and political groundwork for a major confrontation, this episode delivers on that buildup as one of the series' defining mid-run clashes. At episode 48 of 110, the series is firmly in its middle stretch, stakes are escalating and the balance of power between the Empire and the Alliance remains volatile. It flows directly into 'The Darkness Before Dawn...' which picks up the aftermath and implications of what unfolds here.
