Episode Context

Coming off 'The Actress Exits,' which exposed fractures within the Galactic Empire's own power structure, the series now pivots to mirror that dysfunction on the Alliance side. This episode serves as the political ignition point for the large-scale invasion arc, establishing the ideological tensions and key decision-makers who will shape the campaign. It feeds directly into 'When the Rain of Grief Comes,' where the consequences of these deliberations begin to materialize on the ground.
