I didn’t even know this series existed. I think I was only around 6 or 7 years old when it first aired, so I completely missed it. Even though it’s an older anime, I think it’s pretty good so far. It managed to capture my attention right away, especially because of the chanting scenes. It actually reminded me of another series I watched, which made me even more interested.
Didn't expected much from the first episode but it was actually good! The first half followed the story around the time of kingdom and the second half was complete shift in plot - like in early 90's. Serious stuff happened at the beginning which may build the good story ahead. The artsyle and visuals brings nostalgic. Might have good story but not keeping any expectation(always disappoints at the end!). Pacing was good enough considering the time when it was aired
Its my first time watching anime from they year i was born haha. The animation carries that distinct, nostalgic late-90s art style, complete with dramatic lighting, ethereal musical cues, and dynamic character designs. While the initial pacing feels slightly rushed as it thrusts our protagonists straight into supernatural chaos, the mystery surrounding the Sacred Fire and the ancient relic leaves a genuinely compelling hook.
