Legend of Himiko

This is a great series to watch despite its old animation. The story isn’t that different from the newer series we have today. So if you’re an anime lover, especially if you grew up watching anime in the 90s' you'll definitely be reminded of some series that are similar to it's concept.

I like the clear ending. They build the plot such a way the I was invested throughout while watching. However expected fierce battle between MC and the final bosa- but got bit disappoint! Overall, the series had pretty predictable, straightforward plot with nostalgic animation. BUT I didn't liked the costume designa of some queen candidates. 6/10

I really liked the finale. It has a balanced emotional moments and tense battles, so the episode never felt too heavy on one side. I honestly thought she would never find out about her relationship with Enki till the end. They never explicitly said it, but the way that emotional scene was shown made it pretty clear. Though, on the other side, my vision got blurry during Kutani and Shikara’s battle because of all the glowing auras, that's the down side of having astigmatism HAHA!

A very interesting episode. It was nice to see that each of them had their own rightful opponent and that they were all fighting their respective battles. I was expecting a lot more battle scenes, but honestly, I’m still satisfied with it. I even got annoyed at the enemy and found myself getting emotionally invested, that's when you know the story is doing a good job hahahaha !

Well, I think I have an idea about what the enemy might be holding over Chosa. Overall, this episode was entertaining, but felt like something was missing. I just can’t quite pinpoint what it is, there were just too many conversation scenes. I understand that they’re important for the story, but there were moments when I felt like there was too much talking and not enough action.

Gave me mixed feelings. It wasn’t amazing, but it wasn’t bad either it was just so-so for me. But, then it started to get more interesting toward the end, and that’s when it finally caught my attention. But of course, just when I was getting invested, the episode left me hanging.

It’s not that I didn’t like this episode, I guess it just wasn’t that appealing to me. I found it a bit boring, but I still didn’t skip it because I was worried that I might miss an important event later on. I think the only thing that really caught my attention in this episode was the two characters that is riding the albatross.

I suddenly got a little annoyed with Himiko feels way too weak as a character right now. It makes her seem more like a liability to everyone else. I get that she’s not familiar with the place, but I wish she would at least make more of an effort to adapt and learn how things work around her. If she really wants to return to her original world, she needs to start taking more initiative and help resolve the current happenings instead of always being emotional.

Fujina’s actions are really confusing , I honestly can’t tell what her real intentions are yet. Overall, this episode was pretty good. I enjoyed what was happening, and now I’m just waiting to see what happens next.

I’m getting a little curious about what Fujina’s role is in this series. I’m still wondering whether she’s an enemy or an ally, although I’m sure there might be a reason behind her actions. pacing is still a little slow for me, though. It’s taking so long for Himiko to finally meet up with Kutani and the others.

Well, this episode again brought back some of the characters who were introduced in Episode 1. The pacing was a bit slow for me, but I don’t think this is an episode you can skip. It revealed some important information that will probably matter later in the story, so even though it felt slower, I still think it's not skippable.

This episode focuses more on showing the world where the main characters ended up. It also slowly reintroduces the other characters from the first episode, showing them briefly one by one. I like how the story is gradually revealing more about this new world while bringing the characters from the previous episode back into the story.

I’m starting to wonder what role Himiko and Kutani will play now that they’ve ended up in another world and their character development. But honestly, the thing that really caught my attention was the other form of the cute little ball of light. I’m curious about what it actually is and how important it will be to the story.

I didn’t even know this series existed. I think I was only around 6 or 7 years old when it first aired, so I completely missed it. Even though it’s an older anime, I think it’s pretty good so far. It managed to capture my attention right away, especially because of the chanting scenes. It actually reminded me of another series I watched, which made me even more interested.

Good one. Can see all were engaging in battles. But I was expecting some intense battle between Fujina and Heichachiro, but it wasn't upto the mark. Also got some interesting reveal regarding Seki character. That Shikara getting on nerves fr! Let's see what finale brings!

Again plot when as I guessed at the mid. But the second half was quite interesting - plans, politics etc. Shikari gonna cook something big this time! Also Chosa's charcater was only one I liked so far-trapped between his work and personal life. Pacing was slower for me but hoping atleast some good story ahead

Pretty straightforward and predictable plot. Im not getting major vibe or hook to watch the series. So get bored in between! Again there were lots of conversation which were easy to understand and the suspense in the end is the only think I'm looking forward!

Too much conversation might bore you in between. The tactics, plans all were going on one side whereas Konan & Tamada were in their own business. They added comedic touch to the plot. Overall, decent episode with some boredom moments.

So much war politics. That new character definately sus for me- he's cooking something big!! Now it's more interesting to watch these mind clas between the new character and Shikari. As per the story, wasn't much any development but the story feels like coming to one final big clash. It would be interesting to watch the involvement of the MCs

Well planned action scenes with some intense moments. Finally we got what we logged for long time. I like how the makers portrayed the thinking abilities between ancient people like Iga, Imura with those modern thoughts of Kutani. There were comedy scenes at the end which was genuinely funny. Curious how these characters fit to the story!?
