Russia. The characters are out of their element. It gets complicated, but the infiltration to reach the Empress was out of this world, truly unexpected! The master would do anything in the name of knighthood, LOL.

What a fantastic episode! My favorite part was the Empress testing D'Eon—it was so tense, and I loved how he earned her trust. The enemies have made their move, the story keeps getting deeper, and the ending was incredibly satisfying. The writing continues to be absolutely outstanding!

Wow, they’ve finally reached Russia, right in enemy territory! The tension is real because anything could happen to these four French travelers. Is the Russian Empress a friend or an enemy? And why was everyone shocked to see D’Eon disguised as Lia?

Episode Context

Eight episodes in, the Four Musketeers' mission has expanded well beyond France, and this episode marks a pivotal geographic and political shift as they land on Russian soil. It builds directly from the pursuit of Vorontsov, translating that momentum into a high-stakes diplomatic gambit rather than open confrontation. Securing Empress Elizabeta's favor sets the foundation for the Russian storyline that will define the episodes ahead.
