An epic finale, this episode is pure art. The absolute truth has come to light, changing everything. For France to be reborn, someone had to fall. We won, but at a great cost; D'Eon's path was everything here.
This episode reveals the dark truth we waited for, what really happened to Lia. The clash of magic from both sides was terrifying, with mind-blowing animations and effects! The final fight was incredible, everything tied up perfectly, and Lia finally got what she wanted. The ending was sad and heartbreaking, yet absolutely perfect for me. A truly masterful ending!
If I had to describe this anime's ending with one word, it would be beautiful. Even with its tragedies, there is beauty in every moment. I love how it connects fiction with history, showing that killing one king only makes people seek another. What France truly needed was revolution, and the Royal Psalms became the people's song instead of the king's.
