What an incredible episode! D'Eon changing his disguise was brilliantly done and so much fun to watch. Every strange reveal made the mystery even more gripping, and the final mirror scene was absolutely terrifying. The ending felt like pure horror.

The story just keeps getting more exciting as Robespierre's past is slowly revealed. Why did someone so loyal change? Did he really kill Lia, or is there more to the story? Their different beliefs make everything even more interesting, and the ending leaves you wondering what was real and what was only an illusion.

Episode Context

Arriving at the exact midpoint of the series, 'The Sign' pivots the narrative westward following the Musketeers' investigations in Russia, where the conspiracy surrounding the Royal Psalms deepened considerably. This episode plants the Musketeers firmly within British political terrain, establishing new power dynamics and key relationships that feed directly into the next episode, 'Robert Wood's Document Case,' where their espionage mission escalates.
