The episode is calm for a season finale. Not too much happened. It's like going back to the start with a switch in character between Phos and Cinnabar. I like it but there are just too many unknowns which is understandable since it's supposedly just the first season.

What a painful way to end a season,such a strong cliffhanger although it is a good finale though. The finale continues Phos’s journey as she begins to uncover the truth behind Sensei’s connection to the Lunarians. The interactions, especially between Phos and Padparadscha, carry a warm yet melancholic ‘mentor-like’ dynamic. It also strengthens the evolving bond between Phos and Cinnabar, hinting at something bigger ahead. Overall, it’s a finale that raises more questions than answers and leaves a strong sense of anticipation for what’s next. Now I really need a new season. 😭

It's really risky what Phos is trying to propose to the other Gems. While it's understandable that there were more details that came up during their most active involvement, I can't help but worry that this is only going to cause even worse trouble for all of them. Overall, a very strong season 1 filled with introspective elements and fluid fight scenes and I'm hoping that Studio Orange does keep up with it no matter how many years has passed.
