EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode 9 is another calm episode with no vox battles. The episode focuses on the antagonists and also reveals Madako's past and why she joined the Jersey Club

This episode is peak comedy. The De Metrio boys are just so funny. The effort to find Madoka the whole time but the funny scenes that just kept on happening made this episode hilarious. I find the part where Kirius was by the sea the funniest of them all. The tension slightly showed in the end though, reminding us that it is still unresolved.

This episode feels like a turning point where several story threads begin moving toward the same destination. The journey from Katsuura back to Kamogawa isn't just physical—it also represents the characters moving closer to confronting their unresolved issues. Madoka continues acting as the emotional centre of the group, trying to bridge the gaps between people who often struggle to communicate honestly. There are some lighter moments during the travel portions, but underneath them is a growing sense that major events are approaching. The episode does a good job building anticipation without rushing into action immediately. By the end, it feels like everyone is being pulled toward Kamogawa for reasons bigger than themselves, setting up the next stage of the story.
