EPISODE REVIEWS

Episode 10, first half is a casual school life episode focusing on the school festival. The second half shows Lan and Muginami preparing for an upcoming battle.

The friendship between the three girls are so precious. Madoka's feelings are so valid especially most people also experienced that kind of situation. The tension just keeps on building for the next episode. I can't wait for what will happen.

This episode hits a lot harder emotionally than the previous few because it focuses on separation rather than action. Madoka is forced to face the possibility that the bonds she has built with Lan and the others might not last forever, and for the first time the cheerful atmosphere that usually surrounds Kamogawa feels genuinely fragile. What I liked most was how the episode doesn't rely on big dramatic speeches. Instead, a lot of the emotion comes from small interactions and the feeling that everyone knows things are changing even if they don't want to admit it. Lan especially gets some strong moments as she struggles between her responsibilities and the life she has started to enjoy on Earth. The title says "Goodbye," but the episode feels more like everyone trying to delay an inevitable farewell. By the end, there is a heavy sense of uncertainty hanging over the cast, making it clear that the final stretch of the season is about to begin.
