Damn, Daiki really is kinda an a-hole huh? This episode really explains the relationship between Daiki and Kuroko, the old and new light of the shadow, huh? The symbolism with Taiga is also heavy as a parallel. The episode starts, and ends quite nicely.

It was nice to see Tetsuya finally tell Taiga what really happened back then with Aomine. And now it’s time to see if Taiga can really match Aomine. What a great sequence, you reveal things bit by bit, helping us understand what’s coming next.

Aomine’s past at Teiko feels kinda rough, you can see how his passion started to fade. This part gives more insight into his dynamic with Kuroko back then. The pacing starts pretty chill, then picks up near the end as things begin to get more exciting.
