Episode Context

As episode one of twenty-five, this is pure foundation, establishing Seirin's roster, the Kagami-Kuroko dynamic, and the specter of the legendary "Generation of Miracles" that will drive the entire season's rivalry structure. Nothing precedes it, but everything that follows builds directly on the chemistry and ambitions introduced here. The episode efficiently sets the stage for escalating inter-high matchups and the overarching question of whether an invisible player and a powerhouse can topple basketball prodigies.
