The way Rina went from being the bossy gyaru to crying and confessing her love was a total shift and it made the intimate stuff feel more deserved

Episode Context

As Episode 1, this is the foundational entry point for the entire series, there is nothing preceding it, and everything that follows builds from the relationship groundwork laid here. Rina and Zen's dynamic is introduced in its most unresolved state, making this episode essential viewing for understanding what drives the series forward. What it establishes now will define the emotional stakes of every subsequent episode.
