I actually like the concept a lot. The moment he starts “seeing” was cool, but the episode feels a bit too convenient overall. Still, it has potential if they build on it properly

Not bad, but not super memorable yet. It’s mostly setup as blind boy, sad past, then suddenly he’s talented. I wish they slowed it down a bit so the emotional part hit harder :3

It’s a solid start, but also kinda feels like it rushes Kunon being a genius 😅 Like he goes from zero to impressive really fast. Still, the idea of “seeing” through water magic is interesting enough to keep me watching.

Episode Context

As the first of thirteen episodes, this premiere is pure setup, establishing Kunon's blindness, his magical aptitude, and the key relationships that will carry the season forward. No prior context needed; this is your entry point into his quest to perceive the world through magic. The groundwork laid here, particularly Kunon's ambition to create new ways of seeing, directly fuels the challenges and growth that will define the episodes ahead.
