Synopsis
After years away, coming back to his childhood village puts Musashi almost immediately into a reunion with four women he apparently grew up with but has completely forgotten. That awkward reunion premise is just the surface, though — this 2-episode OVA from 2000 quickly reveals that the village is hiding something genuinely unsettling beneath its quiet, familiar exterior. Hidden desires start surfacing, and the supernatural secrets tied to these women make for a short but dense watch. The tone mixes nostalgic warmth with darker undertones, so if you go in expecting a straightforward romantic setup, it pivots on you. Being based on a visual novel, the character dynamics feel layered even within the limited runtime — each woman carries her own history with Musashi, and those threads don't all resolve neatly. It's hentai, so that's the honest context to set expectations around. If you've watched Queen's Blade or Ikki Tousen and appreciated how those series weave drama into their more adult-oriented content, this fits a similar mold. Fans of Samurai Girls who enjoy atmosphere alongside the fanservice will find something familiar here too. At only two episodes, it doesn't overstay its welcome — it sets up a mystery, delivers on the adult content, and leaves you with the vague sense that the village backstory deserved more room to breathe. Short, specific, and darker than the opening scene suggests.
