EPISODE REVIEWS

This episode leans into mystery and quiet tension, revealing just enough for curiosity's sake without rushing its ideas. There's more atmospheric storytelling than outright verbal ones, which does help with the presentation.

Shifting focus to Shizu and Riku is a great change of pace, and Ti is a fun new addition. The themes about people refusing to leave a doomed home hit surprisingly hard. Ending swerves hard into a twist that feels a bit rushed, but still worth it.

Another great episode. The tension slowly builds up at first, then carries all the way to the end since this is a slow-paced anime. There's also a bit of information here that seems normal to the people living in this world but feels unusual to the viewers. This episode focuses more on Shizu's time in the country than on Kino.
