Not much really happens this episode. It feels like they’re just filling time and throwing in some humor to lighten things up. I’m also not a fan of Xin constantly yelling about becoming a great general, it’s getting noisy rather than motivating.

The audacity to declare a dream of becoming a Great General while literally staring death in the face makes us simultaneously respect and fear this unhinged main character.

I dont think there was much in this episode just travelling much. But there was some tension in the mountains lets see what the story waits ahead

I'm in love with this anime gosh, this episode was more of a break from all that seriousness, more like a comic relief, but it still continues with the plot direction. It's a very beautifully done episode. Kudos.

nothing much to see here.
just travelling to the rendezvous point.
travel and travel and when the episode is about to finish an enemy pops out.
skippable but there is some history worth knowing about.

This episode serves as the bridge between Shin’s grief and his destiny. The encounter between Shin and Ei Sei (Ying Zheng) is the core of the series, and Episode 4 nails the friction between them.

Honestly, sometimes you just watch an episode and it's... just an episode. no big reveals no crazy fights that stcik with you. it just moves things along, you know? could be better, could be worse. it's just okay.
