Getting a backstory right in the middle of the battle was interesting. Even a great general like Ou Ki had a tragic love story. Makes the fight feel heavier. And man, I really hate Hou Ken now, hope someone humbles him soon.

I really don't like back stories but this one was not bad. the history between two of the six-great generals and the enemy that took it all away. plus an arrival of another army of sho

It was pretty good in my opinion. The only thing I didn't find great was the battles between Liao and Pang Nuan and young Whang Yi and Pang Nuan, I mean I love this show but those fights didn't feel right.
