Episode Context

Episodes 1 and 2 established the existential threat to Qin and laid the strategic groundwork; Episode 3 is where the talking stops and the fighting begins in earnest at the kingdom's most vital defensive position. This marks the true opening salvo of Season 3's central military conflict. The battle expands further in Episode 4, 'Two Battlefields,' which splits the action across multiple fronts, meaning this episode serves as the launchpad for an escalating multi-episode war arc.
