Episode Context

Episode 1 dropped the hammer with the revelation that multiple armies are converging on Qin, and this second episode is the kingdom's first breath of response, scrambling across diplomatic and military fronts simultaneously. It serves as the critical bridge between initial crisis and the coming 'Battle of Hangu Pass,' where all these preparations will be tested under fire. Early in a 26-episode season, this is Kingdom laying its strategic foundation before the large-scale conflicts that define the arc ahead.
