What can I really say besides that this episode is nothing short of a spectacle. First part of the episode is pretty much just giving heads up on what happened after the first season, and that is something really important to keep in mind that you NEED to watch the first episode and Betterman to get a good grasp of the story and how deeper it gets as there's much more behind the scenes and a lot of context to learn from. That said, this season really is taking itself in a darker and more grim turn with its story compared to its previous more lighthearted aspect of the show and I'm kinda all for it just to add more urgency to the current situation. Overall, still have the same opinion that I did before, in that it's a must watch.

We can witness how strong Mamoru is in this episode. It's an emotional and devastating episode. A tense episode. Mamoru is doing what he thinks is best, but of course, others need to know his reasons. The action scene is satisfying to watch. It's intense and filled with emotions.

Episode 3 successfully takes the audience into a much darker and more serious aspect of the story.
