What can I say besides the fact that the show keeps delivering and adding more intrigue to the story. You can really feel the difference between older cel animation to new anime just by how atmospheric the show is along with the highly anticipated action scenes having that visceral and heavy feeling to them which adds up to the vibe of the environment. Nothing too impactful happening on this episode as of now as it's mostly just a kick starter to the story, and there are plenty of exposition to kind of remind some of the previous season viewers especially on what happened and what's going on. Very good episode so far.

An emotional start with Mamoru's lore, followed by the story's lore. I don't know if Renee is just playful or if she's just being straightforward. Mamoru's actions are still mysterious in this episode. The story's pacing is a bit fast in my liking.

Studio Sunrise successfully delivers mecha fight sequences that feel incredibly heavy, brutal, and packed with large-scale destruction that treats the audience's eyes.
