EPISODE REVIEWS

Sawako leaning into her rep to make friends was fun.

Episode Context

As the first of twenty-five episodes, 'Prologue' is purely foundational, it establishes Sawako's emotional baseline and the social dynamics that the entire season will work to transform. The central relationship with Kazehaya is seeded here without rushing, setting up a slow-burn progression toward friendship, self-discovery, and eventual romance. Everything the series builds across its run starts with the groundwork laid in this episode.
