Another episode where the plot barely moves. Some of the dialogue is painfully cringy to listen to. They tried to do a serious emotional scene, but it completely missed the mark because the tone is so inconsistent. The ending hook was decent though.

Okay! Another anime that has an unnecessary scene. Some may call it fan service, I call it inappropriate and unnecessary. I still find the movie filming scene a bit cringy. The character design for this anime is great, but it gives me card anime vibes. The ending was just a start.

I loved the opening with Lilithea just doing her thing and Sakuya being a flustered mess it was hilarious

You know Sakuya was going to die again but man that stab was brutal. The animation for that moment was really impactful and shocking.

I loved the Lilithea fan service at the start and Sakuya's reaction was hilarious. That hotel has some seriously creepy vibes too.

The whole closed circle thing is such a classic mystery setup and this episode did it so well it immediately raises the stakes.

EPISODE CONTEXT

Coming off the self-contained 'Murder at the Crimson Theater' in Episode 3, the show pivots into multi-part territory for the first time, using the Kowloon Hotel as a fresh, more elaborate stage. This episode functions as a table-setting first half, introducing a new cast of suspects and establishing the threat before the mystery fully ignites. What follows in Part 2 will depend entirely on the tension carefully constructed here.
