i really love how these characters are just total nerds about their own specific interests. the way they talk to each other feels so natural and close to home, just like regular college students hanging out. it is really nice to see a world where being gay is just the total norm
the relationship progression moves at an incredibly rapid pace here. while the conversational flow remains organic, the framing of certain interactions does lean heavily into the typical fetishization that often plagues this specific genre, which is unsurprising but still notable.
I genuinely feel so bad for gujo tho... bro lost from the very beginning. And I cannot believe things are escalating THAT QUICK either. The pacing is going crazy and leaving her completely in the dust.
