A fluffy and relaxing start. Yurie's expressive faces are so cute to watch. The pacing felt a little rushed but this is probably just setup for more explanation later. Either way, that was an incredibly charming first episode.

Huh?? What did I just watch 🤣🤣. At first, I thought it was all just a joke 🤣🤣. This first episode got me hooked, and it's really interesting. The animation is also good. The pacing is a bit slow, but it's not boring at all since there's a lot of interesting stuff going on here.

Episode Context

As the series opener, this episode does the essential groundwork, establishing Yurie's world, her relationships, and the quiet town that anchors the story before anything extraordinary takes root. There is no prior episode to draw from; everything here is first contact. It flows directly into Episode 2, 'Please God,' where Yurie's emerging identity and the weight of what she's becoming move from background rumble to center stage.
